ShowGold Plus Soybean Oil

ShowGold Plus Soybean Oil from STE Oil Company is once refined soybean oil enriched with ethoxyquin as a preservative. Natural soybean oil is extracted from whole soybeans, which is processed and refined to produce refined soybean oil. ShowGold Plus Oil is formulated specifically to cater to animal feed production and packaging purposes.

Soybean Oil Derivation Applications

Crude soybean oil is naturally extracted from whole soybeans. Extractable oil from a soybean comprises about 19 percent of its total weight. After the soybeans are cracked and checked for moisture content, these are then heated, refined, or blended. Both liquid soybean oils and partly hydrogenated oils are used vegetable oil. Soybean meal or the residue of the entire process can be used to produce animal feeds.

Animal feeds directly affect the quality of livestock products and should therefore be nutritionally abundant and sufficiently enriched with the right fats, calories, protein, and vitamins. Most of the commercially processed feed available today is comprised of feed grains such as corn, oats, barley, and soybeans as its main ingredients.

Soybean Oil for Enriching Animal Feeds

Refined soybean oil like ShowGold Plus is an excellent ingredient addition to animal feeds. While soybean oil is used basically in cooking as edible oil, the remaining residue in soybean oil production has been widely used in enriching animal feeds. Soybean oil is one of the leading vegetable oils in the global market, and is being used extensively in the food industry.

Due mainly to the omega 3 fatty acids and omega 6 fatty acids present in soybean oil, it is an excellent ingredient in animal feed formulations. In fact, the fat content in soybean oil can be comparable to that of fish oil. These essential fatty acids provide a range of nutritional benefits, making them a vital additive to high-end animal feeds. Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids found in soybean oil is known to improve animal coats, facilitate hormone production, and break down cholesterol. It is also known to contribute caloric content to these feeds which makes them a highly valuable ingredient. Soybean oil, more than its purpose in enriching animal feeds, is also useful in packaging feeds in manufacturing plants, since it is known to reduce bricking during the bagging process.
